Reading through some of these comments, I would never believe the rumors that M3 owners are wound up a little too tightly. Chill out, people, engineers are allowed to do projects on the side for fun, its not the end of the world.

This is so cool. Amazing what a company with some extra $$ is willing to do for giggles.

once more....M should rather concentrate their efforts on bringing a SW modell à la Audi RS4 or MB C63 AMG.
This is just ridiculous

If they have that much free time to make "that" then they should spend it fixing that super long 6 series.

lol@everyone that is "upset" or "complaining" about this. And as for the "wasting time" part.. you act as if it took the whole M division to create this project. I'm sure it took no more than a week or 2 at most for a few people to create this. I think it's cool that they did this while making it "street legal". I'm sure everyone involved enjoyed it.

Quit being so uptight.

tight asses. this shit is hilarious. If anything you who are complaining should be proud of BMW that they did this. Shows that they know how to have fun. Good stuff M

Well judging by the "pick-up powered by" logo being in English they are targeting US even Australia.

Looks superb. And grow up some of you. I like that BMW has a soul and a sense of humour in this way.
