BMW HELMET?

have anybody purchased these helmets before?
are they for cars as well?

I guess you could but I'd go for a dedicated helmet for use in cars. I've gone for a Arai Gp 6s myself.

I've turned up at a track day and a Pug 306 owner had a motor cross helmet on! so like I say you could.............

Those are all bike helmets. Get a proper one for cars. I too am an arai fan but try some on and find the best fit as it varies quite a lot between different models and manufacturers.

All tracks in the US require a snell certified helmet within the past ten years. The current ones are SA2010. For some reason they only go in five year increments. Motorcycle helmets are very similar but usually not rated for fire resistance.
