✚WHEELSTO TSW Nurburgring RF

WheelSTO would like to offer TSW wheels to the M3 community. TSW offers great looking and affordable wheels for many makes and models, including sizing for the M3! TSW is the parent company of Beyern, so you know the quality is really great, especially for the price!

TSW Custom Alloy Wheels, manufacturer of the largest selection of custom one piece alloy wheels in the world, introduces the highly anticipated rotary forged face wheel, the Nurburgring. This aftermarket alloy wheel is named after one of the most storied tracks known to racing, the Nurburgring, widely known as one of the toughest and most dangerous tracks in the world.

Much like the track, the Nurburgring wheel exudes prowess and strength with its sleek spokes. This wheel is engineered using the advanced rotary forging process. “This process forges out the barrel of the wheel at high pressure while the wheel is being spun at high speeds,” says Terence Scheckter, president of TSW Alloy Wheels. “This process greatly enhances the strength of the wheel and reduces the weight. Most importantly, the rotary forging reduces the weight in the most critical part of the wheel- the barrel, and thus improves acceleration and braking.” Increased wheel strength and less weight enables the Nurburgring to have the muscle needed to tame the curves of the Nurburgring track, and everyday roads.

I'm very happy with mine. Hub centric. Extremely light. No vibration. Very strong. I am running 20x9 et28 front with 245/30/20 and 20x10.5 et25 rear with 295/25/20. The wheels mount with the factory lug bolts and a hub centric ring. The rears fit perfect. I added 15mm spacers in the front to make them flush. The gunmetal finish was not quite dark enough for me so I had the wheels powder coated in satin black. I also replaced the chrome center caps with a black ones.

Also what about non-M fitments? can you post all the 20" sizes and offsets please.

And last but not least it looks like non of these have concave faces correct?

the TSW Nurburgring will work with the BMW center caps.. just plug and play.

the 20" sizing for 5-120 is:

20*8.5 et43
20*9.0 et20
20*9.0 et35
20*9.5 et48
20*10.5 et25
20*10.5 et35

19" is also available:
19*8.0 et35
19*9.0 et20
19*9.5 et41
19*10.5 et27

the 19 x 9.0 / 10.5 is a great combination for the M3.

ESNTRK1, would you mind telling me how exactly you powdercoated your wheels? I mean I know how the process works, but more specifically how did you strip the original factory coating on these TSW nurburgring wheels? Did you sandblast it or dip it in chemical stripper? More specifically, if you sandblasted it, which material did you use for your stripping agent (ie: steel beads, plastic beads....) ? I'm VERY interested in doing the exact same thing to my wheels, I'm just trying to get the exact process down that you used since you already have it done. I'm only really worried because they're rotory forged wheels and I don't know what stripping agent or substance you can use and keep the wheel safe. I'm also worried you won't respond because you haven't posted for over a month now. Please let me know when you get a chance, or if anyone here knows, thank you!

good question. I'd like to know too. for us, we usually do the chemical stripping as that is the most clean way and allows for good adherence on the powdercoat. But with EPA regulations, that is a very expensive option.

not from the factory. they make them in the matte gun metal, bronze and the polished face with gun metal finish.

My apologies guys. I didn't get a message that there was a reply to the post. I had the wheels powder coated by a local shop. It's wasn't DIY, but the guy only charged me $80. per wheel. They came out totally awesome and the difference was like night and day. Before powder coating and changing the center caps, no one even noticed the car. But now (honestly) I can't drive three blocks without someone either staring, pointing or making a comment. People love this car and it's not because it's white with tinted windows and ground effects. It's the wheels (style, powder coat and center caps) that they comment on the most.

I've had them for some months now and I'll say... super strong. I'm guilty of hitting a rough spot or two in the roads and the wheels have not bent at all. Just installed my second set of Continental DWs and they balanced perfectly.
