This would be pretty cool. If only.....

I think ZTechnik put the camo tape on as a joke with the expectation that pics would surface. Funny guys.

[quote=Jason;9132425][bpnews=M3 Ute/Pickup In the Works or Early BMW April Fool's Joke??]
Anyone in need of a 414hp lawn equipment toting track-ready car?

Here's an M3 spy sighting out of left field. Normally we'd dismiss this outright as simply a joke on spy photographers and us enthusiasts who pour over spy photos, but this prototype is actually registered as a BMW manufacturer vehicle.

We do not yet have info on what this car may be and speculate that it could be anything from a playful BMW joke (almost definitely) to somehow actually (and unbelievably) being a production for some type of utility M3 model. In any case, it's a funny thing to look at, so we share our laughs with you. Looks like the drivers inside may be in the joke as well

QUOTE]

In stead of loosing their time with such foolish "games", they'd better start to test-ride for the coming generation M3 as a Touring. Apparently BMW has not yet recognized the signs of time and the need of their costumers for a M Touring version.
Others did.....and did it quite sucessfully. Hey Munich, can you hear us.....

They arn't going to make this...then again, Porsche has a SUV, and Ferrari has gone AWD.

I think they were testing the vert in cold of winter, so they built a cab for drivers to keep warm... just for winter testing.
But it is clearly E93...

How do they test verts in winter??? ...maybe this is the way?
