Any of you guys going somewhere for spring break?

so yeah im 25.... couple of years out of college and into the real world. I still have some friends that are a few years younger than me and are seniors at my university and they are asking me to come to south padre island with them. I'll probably go - thinking that the time is coming when eventually i'll be "that guy" and too old to go hang out with drunken sorority girls.

anyhoo, any of you guys going somewhere?

trust me dude, i've done cancun, padre, numerous beaches.... all on spring breaks. the older 30's crowds - you might not think people notice you but they do. while a lot of girls did that whole older guy thing, the parties just dont seem as fun for the older crowd.

anyhoo hence why im enjoying it while i can :rocks:

Let me say something up front though - i mean NO disrespect to our older crowd. You guys are more established and have families...... us "kids" still have a lot of growing up to do

Well, seeing as how I live in Panama City Beach, I don't go to spring break, spring break comes to me.
Being a local during this is a pain in the ass though...although there are a few side perks...

i'm driving down to chicago from march 19-22, 19th is monday i believe....gotta go to the indonesian embassy and renew my passport

coming back on thursday evening and then working again on friday, gotta raise funds for upcoming mods

oh im very sure. i have met several sorority girls that have "stressed" they will be down there in large groups and very up for partying

im going to west palm beach week after next. driving down stoping at amelia island to look at homes then spending 5 nights at the breakers.

most of the sorority girls i will be meeting are from the class of '56.

Oh yes, Back Beach is my friend indeed. I work on the beach, so thats the only road I'll even THINK about going on.
If any of you guys are coming to this neck of the woods, give me a PM. I work a lot, but I'll make time to get out and have a drink or two with ya...you know, the whole southern hospitality thing.

Yeah, I used to work at Island 106 and lived at Front beech and Pelican or Albatross. I can't remember which street. But I used to fly down back beach to get from A to B. Hope to get back there for again for a vacation, before too long.

SOME of us 40yos will be down in Cancun starting the 21st. My cousin is getting married, and because of the influx for SB, she has to get married on a Friday afternoon at a resort that's a bit off the main strip, the Moon Palace. I just hope all the younger people are too hung over to get on a fishing boat during the week!
