Stealth bulbs for corner "egg yolk"

Has anyone come up with a solution for the PY24W bulb???

I have no interest in LED's as they strike me as somewhat boy racer. I just spent the last hour searching and still can't get a definitive answer as to whether or not they exist

Appreciate any help

LED's seem to be the only option i'm aware of. I have them on my car and they look great imo.

I used high temp silver spray paint and lightly dusted the bulbs, turned out great. They are silver when off, but flash orange.

I guess it's either ugly egg yolk (everyones opinion) or ricer LED's (just your's). Depends on which opinion matters you more, theirs or yours.

I just coded mine out so they stay off unless I hit the turn signal. Much cleaner looking.

Great idea, but I've heard many ppl having problems down the road where the paint will flake into the bulb housing and it's nearly impossible to clean it out. How's yours holding up?

I like that idea. May be the best option, do you have the little baby bulb in the corner coded as well?

I've only had them in there for a month or so, they are not chipping or flaking yet. IMO, as light of a coat that needs applied, I don't think it would be able to flake off, but time will tell.

I believe the ones you're speaking of are factory installed in many of our cars. They still show orange with the lights off and you can still visibly see orange when looking at the bulb

Correct, the E70 X5 has a bit more silver finish on the bulb compared to e9X.

Part # 63.21.7.162.851 (sold per bulb from BMW).

It's barely noticeable compared to the amber ones. I went with Cree LED's myself lol

Send a message via MSN to Kris@Modmynav
I have WeissLicht PY24W LED Turn Signal Bulbs.

WeissLicht says it's error free, but I had to code out bulb check, since it was throwing bulb error.
