If you are the gentleman I was chatting with at South Bay BMW this afternoon when we both had engine oil issues, please PM me. I'd love to stay in touch with you and share info, mods, and anything in between.

By the way, what did they end up doing to your ride? The 1 liter of engine oil they inserted raised my level to the "minimum", so looks like I will be returning on Monday to have them put a few more liters in.

The Southbay S/A added the perfect amount and was very cordial about the whole matter. I asked my S/A about the matter and he stated their M mechanic tended to under fill oil as overfilling causes problems. Made sense to me. The car is good to go now.
