i am thinking of buying the PS2 now as replacement. They cost around 1600 inc. shipping. hurts to pay so much for the tires. I have vibration in the car too, at around >75 mph.

For PS2s I've been told 10k to 20k is average. Obviously rears are typically in the lower end of that range and fronts in the upper end.

Personally I'm seeing about 8k on rears and 10k on fronts.

2009 M3  [4.00]
Mine lasted around 10k, but that included around 80 autocross laps. They were very entertaining while they lasted. (19" Michelins)

I PROUDLY just replaced my rears last week....7,000 miles and no track events. They were the OEM conti's, which I was not particularly fond of. Fronts about 1/2 dead, so will replace with something better once they wear out.

coming from an '08 997S, I figured that was about right. I really enjoy the car every day as my DD....what a joy to drive. I agree with the other posters that you got the wrong car if you're excited that you achieved 15K on your rears...WTF
