Is it dark outside yet? I guess you could not wait to show off your new toys

let see some actual footage when you get a chance for a drive to the grocery maybe.

I don't have any pics of the whole setup in the car. I need to dig out my old digital camera and smack to take those. As for the videos, I've been doing a bunch of tests. It works perfectly. The mount is rigid as hell (I have a mark on my head still to prove it too )..

Yeah, I'll definitely take some short videos and post them on youtube..

And then I have advanced driving school on Saturday I'll be taking videos..

It came out awesome. And the black/aluminum looks perfect on my black/aluminum interior..

once again, it looks seriously nice, overengineered and polished - looks like a production piece. Nice work Josh!

Hahaha. Picture thousands of people sitting in their cars. Half drinking coffee, barely awake, probably hungover. The other half flosses, putting on makeup, clipping their nose hairs with large kitchen sheers, writing checks, using laptops, eating, talking on the cell phone, getting changed..

About 4 ft separate each car. If you leave more than 4 ft, you're an A$$hole.

Now throw in a couple dozen people. They were just cheated on by their significant other, they are 2 hours late to the most important meeting in their career, they spilled burning hot coffee on themselves, and they really have to go to the bathroom. They want to get to work.. Give them a handgun or two as well..

That's about it...

an overengineering piece would be one that fits all brand camera and one that can fold up automatically when not in used...

Universal = just okay at everything. But not really good at anything either..

Custom = perfect for one application. I only have only camera. If I get another one, or a video camera, making a new plate is easy..

This is custom..

The plate piece and the piece that clamp onto the headrest are not black anodized aluminum, which they look like. They are actually Black Delrin. WIth an incredible finish. The arm is 6061 aluminum to minimize deflection. The whole thing weighs barely over a pound. Not bad at all in a 3200 lb car..

Found the old digital camera and set it up. Going to take pics in a few..

Incredible job there Josh. Bravo!

Get these things mass produced and sell them. I'd be one of your first customers.
