Anyway, OP - it seems like you like the GT-R a lot, since you're contemplating owning two of them at the same time. I say go for it, if you're reasonably certain you're not going to want something totally different to spice things up.

Otherwise from the left field, I'd try something along the lines of an R8 (V8) or Aston Vantage V8. Very different cars each with its own charm and unique characteristics.

Get a used 07 or newer Z06, they are the best track cars and are easy to maintain. Also buying horsepower is less expensive.

Which are you suggesting a C2S or turbo? The 991 is right around the corner. A 2012 turbo is very unlikely. The turbo S is the last of the 997 turbos. The 991 (MY2013) is next. No turbo for 2012.
