Michelin pilot sport A/S

Hi

When i bought back my E46 M3 (still have my E92) from my dad, it now has PS A/S (all season) tires.I know the regular PS are completely useless in the snow. Can someone tell me how the A/S will do. Can I get caught in an inch or so of snow and still make it home, for example. Thanks!

I have AS+ and have used them all winter in Denver. You should have no problems in light snow. To me it makes more sense to use all-seasons in a climate where you only get a couple weeks of bad snow/road conditions in a winter season.

Yes, you can make it home in an inch of snow. As patrick1 rightly noted, they are fine for use in light snow, but will struggle in more severe winter weather (deeper snow and ice).

Use all possible care, as high hp, light weight, and rwd are not the forumula for ideal winter driving. If this is a daily driver in the snow belt, you will be much better served by a real snow tire.
