I have the exact same mod on mine, replaced the two perf. pipes with full solid SS straight pipes. Left the other 2 smaller perf. pipes alone, and restuffed the muffler with the sound absorb. material.
And the system is by far better then my previous AP catback soundwise, ZERO drone thruout RPM-range and its pretty much just like stock at idle and when accelerating up till about 3k rpm, after that wall after 3k rpm it gets really aggressive roary. Also, it creates a pretty unique muffled sound when shifted aggressively. I've gotten tons of compliments on mine so far and I've only had it for about a week.  If anyone is around 626 area and wants to buy seans exhaust just lmk, i could probably meet up so you can see what you buy! bump for a great guy!

You can remove the tips (they are riveted in), cut a portion from the back end (front remains untouched), re-drill the rivet holes and finally rivet them back on. A muffler shop should be able to do this for you for $100 I imagine.

Sorry, off topic. I see your license frame. I live in OC also. Has that gotten you out of trouble? It would't help on the freeway right? The 11-99 foundation is a bit too rich for my taste right now. Maybe when I drive a Ferrari.

To be honest i had the 11-99 but for some reason i had gotten away so many times with the KMA i guess also because my uncle is a sheriff and my cousin is an LAPD so everytime i get pulled over (like once every 5 years) they always ask me why do i have the KMA plate frame ill just say ammmm my cousin and uncle is a Sheriff and LAPD.. Usually they say ok have a good day... Although im usually not doing anything... I just follow the rules and dont do something stupid and u will never get pulled over

sorry cant get one unless you have a relative that work for the force...
they have fake one on ebay or craigslist but i would not recommend it cause cops knows they are fake... and if they do they will just give you a ticket... although i have seen fake once in the black market for around 300-600 for the frame that looks pretty good. ... just beware that the person selling it might be as well undercover.
