I'm a noob to the BMW world but does the M3 coupe have the same fender room as a 335 coupe? If the offset fit a 3 series perfectly would it fit the same if the wheels were to be put on a M3?

Im currently looking to order some wheels but want to get the most aggressive offset possible.
I'm currently aiming at 19x10 +20 and 19x10.5 +15

This is basically the norm in regards to rear fender space:
335 coupe < 335 sedan
M3 coupe < M3 sedan

It is a small difference but the sedans have a bit more room. The 335 does not have as much room as the M3 (front or rear).

The specs you are running would not fit a 335 unless you ran super stretched tires, camber, fender mods, etc...

We have done some extremely aggressive setups on M3's with zero rubbing. Feel free to contact me if you need details.

I can't actually PM yet due to the 5 post rule but thanks for the info. I'm actually trying to put 19x10 +20 and 19x10.5 +15 with stretch tires on the M3. I just don't know how much it will come out fitment wise. I'm sorta go for the aggressive stretch wheel poking stance. Sorta hellaflush but not as aggressive but lip still passing the fender.

Refer to this thread for pictures. I love his stance and trying to mod the specs to fit the M the same way since I'm ready to purchase wheels.

Dude ... I come from Japanese car tuning (350z, IS300 turbo, 450whp Evo IX, ect).... unlike the honda crowd or even now some STI and Evo owners most BMW owners want comfort with their fitment, as a result they have FLUSH fitment ... all the cars I posted on here are very aggressive by BMW standards ... no one here is looking for huge poke and tires that are as stretched as your butt hurt ass is. If thats what your after go check the VIP forums or VWVortex or Stanceworks.

The sizes were 20x9 (245/30/20 Nitto Invo) and 20x11 (285/25/20 Nitto Invo).

Its a tricky setup to make look good because if the car is not extremely lowered it doesnt look right. The rear tire is stretched so the wheel well looks empty if it isn't lowered aggressively.

285/25/20 isnt THAT stretched on a 11". My friend Ryan is running 255 on 10.5 on his 335i E90 and its mellow

I didnt say it was THAT stretched. I just said it was stretched.

IMO I would rather stretch a 275/30/20 on an 11" wheel than a 285/25/20 because the 285/25/20 has very little give on the sidewall.

This picture below is a 285/25/20 on a 20x11...It is stretched even if you dont consider it THAT stretched.

well i just totaled my g35 and i had a new set of work vs-xx's ordered already and was just wondering would they fit my e92 m3? specs are 20x9.5 +0 20x11 +6

No. Offsets are too low. Also, it's unlikely the the bolt circle and hub pilot match.

Anyone have any experience w/Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta on 20's? I'm tyring to figure out if this combo will work:
F:20x9 et15 - 245/30/20
R:20x10 et20 - 285/30/20
Not sure about the rolling diameters and I can't find the tire calculator link. Also, will the 285's in the rear be too much tire??? Will the 245's be too stretched? I'm currently running:
F:19x9 et22 - 255/35 Vreds
R:19x10 et22 - 275/35 Vreds

Ideally you would want a 255 on a 9" but it wont look bad. I have ran a 245/30/20 on a 9" and it looks fine.

You wont have a problem with the rears either.
