ETA is a couple of weeks. I am prepping the coding laptop as I type this..

It came with windows 7 starter so I had to format and install professional.

I confused this group buy with the other one in Florida.

The Florida GB is completed. I will contact everyone on this thread that has shown interest and see if it's worth it to arrange one in your area (in the next couple weeks).

All of the cars worked out great in Florida. So the remote coding kit was a huge success.

I just read the second page of this thread - haven't seen it before today...

Price is not $50 per item. It's not on a per item basis but more of a "package" deal for the features you request.

Pricing is contingent based on volume - i.e the more people the less the price will be. Look for an email or PM for me in the next couple weeks. I will try not to PM those that said they are not interested. My apologies if I have you on a list here and you receive a message...

hey guys sorry for the delay ive been going back and forth with Mike. The price is a bit steep $250+ per car for most of the options. (i need 2 of my own done)

and the free coding from onebadmofo is 20+ people waitlist.

Long story short i bought the cable and will attempt it my self as onebadmofo pointed me in the right direction.

If i get things working i'll let you guys know

just a short update, i got a few things coded on my m3 to test ( seat belt gong for driver / passenger side) disabled and then reenabled. coding looks easy enought just time consuming.

Planning to spend saturday removing my remotekey+ and coding the rest of my m3 and then the x5m.

not sure if its true but i heard people got banned for helping to code for free .

i just got done coding my x5m , idrive disclaimer removal , trunk close from inside/fob, key eject and a few other goodies

If you can follow directions its not rocket science just a pita downloading all the files

How did you do the coding. I would love to get some of the features you identify coded on my M3. Is there a place in NOVA that will do it? What did you need to do it yourself, I am not sure I am ready for that but evaluating options as I really want to code some features like Auto Window Up/Down, Roof Up/Down Mirror Fold, Real Time MPG, Legal Disclaimer gone, unlock doors car shutdown and maybe a few others. Any advice is appreciated.

Also, if you go for service and they do a software upgrade do you lose all the coding you have done?
