Yes, but it will be a completely different design. There's nothing else we can mention about it at this time. We'll post about it as soon as we can. In the mean time we'll keep this thread about the ARC-8 wheels

I'm looking around for good tires for the 10.5 that are coming in april. There aren't many options at 295/35/18. Any recommendations?

After checking the choices I'm tempted to go 10's all the way around

I am planning on 265/35/18 front and 285/35/18 rear with my 9.5/10.5 set. The front and rear wheel widths will be 1.0 inch greater and the front and rear tire widths will be 0.80 inch greater. You can plug those sizes into Tire Rack and get some good options at a variety of prices. I am considering Continental DW.

That AP kit is 368mm front and 356mm rear with small calipers. It will fit fine.

We already know the 355 and 380mm SopTech kits fit

Just wanted to post an update on my setup for anyone who may be considering something similar. I have the following:

• Wheels: 18x10 APEX ARC-8's, square (anthracite)
• Tires: Grand Am Continental Challenge scrubs from Turner, 275/35-18
• Spacers: 15mm TMS (front), 12.5mm TMS (rear)
• Suspension: Ground Control conversion kit, lowered 1/2" all the way aroiund
• Alignment: -2.6 Front, -1.97 Rear (0 toe at my shops recommendation)

First, there isn't any rubbing. Anywhere.

Second, GORGEOUS. (giant FAIL for the camera being left at home...) Edit: Picture in action from this past weekend:


Third, handling was spectacular. I'm fairly certain I took 3-4 seconds off my best time from last year. (secondary FAIL on my part for opting out of renting a transponder yesterday)

If you're going for a street only setup, then you may not want that much front rubber to cut down on tramlining. The 18x9.5" et22 wheel with a 265 would be a better option. The offset would make it a flush setup. I don't have photographs of this fitment at this time, but will post them as soon as possible.

I kind of like having the TPMS sensors at the track. I haven't had any issues with but a friend of mine did with a tire and it was an early warning. Less concerned on the street really, as I don't drive 150mph there.

19's are not a performance oriented modification. There is almost zero r-compound tire selection in that size, and they are an unnecessary weight increase over 18" wheels. This is a technical discussion of the 18" wheels, and not a commercial post, but I can say that although anything can be made with enough demand, we don't currently have the intentions of producing this design in 19".

TPMS have saved my butt twice now on my track wheels. Once was early warning that I had a slow leak due to loose valve stem (the warning light goes on when there is a slight pressure drop in one tire).
The second time was a nail puncture on the way to the track that allowed me to safely pull off to the side of the road immediately after it happened.
I am absolutely putting tpms in all the wheels I ever own!

Can't wait to pick up my ARC-8's tomorrow!

Interesting. I was trying to understand what on track specific failures were happening that a driver wouldn't feel as a changing in handling, and then come in on their own.

My wheels get here this week and i've just now started looking at tires.

My spec is 18x9.5" ET22 and 18x10.5" ET27 as many of you.
I'd like to run Toyo R888's as i have experience with this tire on my Elise.

Can i run the 275/35ZR18 on the fronts and 295/30ZR18 rear?

Might even be able to get away with the 305/35's. The 295/30's will be a little short which might make it easier to overheat the R888's. They don't like wheelspin in my experience
