Yeah, definitely get Huper Optik if you dont want to use your comfort access and have no interest in AM radio. Ceramic tint DOES block the signal.

Instead, get Suntek Carbon and you'll have no problem.

I don't have problem with either of those (comfort access & AM radio)

50% is too light. Go with 30%.
You'll still have good visibility and privacy without looking ghetto.

Cool, dude's name is Jae, his number is 949-341-9100, if it helps any. He's pretty close to the spectrum, if I recall correctly.

^That's only for sedans. My 2008 coupe was fine for 2+ years, and my 2011.5 coupe is fine as well. OP has coupe.

Got it done under a Group Buy. Paid only $650 for 6 windows on a 4 door sedan (E90). Yes, including the front windshield.

Yes, I installed Huper Optik ceramic tint and the range of my key remote was more than cut in half, the comfort access was hit-or-miss and the reception on my AM radio was wasted. Our rear antenas are very sensitive and although ceramic tint was created to not interfere with electronics, it does.

Suntek Carbon tint and Llumar ATX will not interupt any of these thing at all.

Many people who comment are the same folks who installed their tint the first day of ownership and have no idea of the difference. If you decide to still go with ceramic, do a test. Measure how far your key remote works from before install and then check it afterwards. Also, good luck getting it to work from behind the car where the signal actually has to pass through the back window. Ceramic or metallic is not worth the headache.

weird... isn't CA located outside on the handle?

Thus it shouldn't be affected by the tint?

I have 3M Ceramic with no problems with AM, CA, or unlock/locking

Same thing is on the Z4
