Thanks a bunch for sharing. The write up along with the pics sold the deal for me & my wife to do ED on the F3x M3. This is our plan in 2-3 or whatever years it is when the next M3 comes out. Thanks again for sharing.

Hmm, I actually got the $1500 rebate on my car which I wasn't expecting (not complaining).
No surprise there homie! The $1500 would've applied to you as well.

My decision back in October was whether or not to do ED during winter months. Because I wanted to drive it there, I decided to wait to do ED. Then along comes December and I find out that I will save 2k by ordering car before end of year ($1500 rebate + $500 price increase). That is what accelerated my ordering schedule. Instead of ordering in Feb 2011 for April ED, I pulled the trigger to order earlier this month and take PCD in Feb/March!

With you doing ED before the end of the year, you had the following tradeoff: Save $2k but not be able to (or at least not be a good idea to) drive your whip in Europe.

Damn - beautiful car. Thanks for sharing the pics and video. The guy on the bike was pretty cool. I liked how he stopped on the stairs, perfectly balanced, for a photo op.

Your story was very entertaining! You had me at the edge of my seat. I have always wanted to do a European M3 delivery of my own one day.

Beautiful car and Congratulations!
