Its not worth it at all, a Z06 GM 7/100,000 extended with no deductible is 1/2 of the BMW price. Granted the Z06 comes with a 5/100K powertrain warranty standard so that shifts some of the extended warranty costs down.

I havent found a dealer willing to discount the BMW plans more than 15%, if anyone has post them up. Lot of dealers quote non-BMW extended warranties so its hard to tell.

3200 is the maintenance... The warranty is around 6K (depending on which version). I just priced them at the dealership.

not ungrateful or anything GOLFFRR but...

err...GOLFFRR, I already hit you up a few weeks back.

Your contact in sales sent it over to "finance" who quoted list and refused to budge , when I asked if he can do better I got told "separate department, got zero pull" ...Do you happen to have a direct hookup with someone in finance who sells the warranties directly?

I'm very interested as well. I bet if you get us a good [b]BMW[b] deal, many here on the forum would jump on it.

I never understood the reason why they have a separate addon for Navigation. Do these GPS units fail that frequently? Or is the cost so high to repair it (compared to an S65 motor?) that it mandates such a large % of the warranty cost?
Does the "Navigation" component mean the iDrive controller, LCD, computer? It's so integrated in the car these days. How do you distinguish between components responsible for GPS vs just the system/computer controlling the iDrive?

Where did you see a replacement DCT being that "cheap"?

This post mentioned the DCT transmission is almost $9k without labor.

Without a doubt some high dollar stuff, this is the extended vehicle protection, NOT extended maintenance.
335 owner here, I purchased a plan in July. I can tell you the above is outdated, because you no longer have to be within 45 mos. to get the plan, nor do you have to be the original owner.

Also, I had to check 3 dealerships (like pulling teeth because you have to listen to the finance manager's schtick), but the 3rd discounted 10% off what the sheet said, so I just went with it. A few hundred to is better than nothing, right? But your prices are high for me, like 3k more than the 3k I paid (7/100 gold)! Good luck.

M3 is in a different class (B or C), 335 is about 1/2 the money. M3 is in category F.

That chart was downloaded from BMW a while ago, someone posted the newer chart and yes the 45K on gold/premium is different but the prices are the same.

Golffrr-

Any special discount if I buy two or more? Would this discount also be available to an x5 and/or an m6?

335 is class B. I'm not talking about the prices. There is no such thing as a 45k and there hasn't been in over 1 year. I thought I'd point it out, but if you want to rush and pay 6k for your agreement by 45k, then so be it.
