I've used this a few times (both HD and non-HD versions) and for some reason I could never get the video as good as how they advertise. If you browse through YouTube, it's very rare you'll find something from a GoPro with very good quality.

Frankly, I'm pretty upset on the quality. I shoved the iPhone4 under my passenger side headrest and it yielded better videos than the GoPro. Sound was significantly more accurate too.

Wow, IDK, I was so excited when I got mine, I took videos right out of the box and it was nice. I have a panasonic HD V cam and it took video just as clean. The only thing that I could grip about is the wide angle lens on all the time. These are the same cameras they use on mythbusters and sharkweek etc etc.

IDK what could have happened with yours
