My prayers are with him, too. How is he doing? How badly was he injured? I hope I don't come across as a dick for asking this question -- but was this the result of street racing? I hope not. But if it is, then it's a not so gentle reminder to all of us to take it easy out there.

Sorry, I thought I was asking in the nicest way possible and don't mean to make it seem I've concluded anything. Maybe if those who know could provide more information -- what happened? Was he hurt bad? Is he still in the hospital or is he out? Am I overlooking that info from another thread?

one of the posts on the s2k board suggests he may be out of the hospital. but then another s2k poster asks where that poster got his info, and there has not been a reply.

i don't personally know tam, so i am unsure what exactly happened and how he's doing. so i guess for the time being we just got to see what gets updated on the different threads and wish him the best!

I don't know Tam, and it's easy to forget most of the E90Post members that I argue with, converse with, or trade witicisms with, but if there are members here who do know him, it would be great to be kept posted.

If he was badly injured I hope he is well on the way to full recovery. Again, prayers for he and his loved ones.

I would like to add my wishes of a complete recovery - I don't care if he raced, if the accident was his fault or if he jumped off a building trying to land in his car like James Bond. I am just sad to hear that someone with a common interest got hurt-speedy recovery Tam.

My prayers and best wishes go out to Tam for a quick recovery.

It's always a shame to hear about incidents like this one. The vast majority of us on forums only know each other through our screen names and personalities we create in our own minds. But the fact we all come together as car guys and BMW lovers lends us to have respect for all our comrads in the community.

We must also remember to learn from this by making sure every single person in our lives, friends, family and signifcant others knows how much they mean to us and make as many memories as possible. These events happen in the blink of an eye and change lives forever. Always remember to tell your loved ones "I love you."

Get well soon man.
