Will BMW e90 roof rack fit e92?

I believe so. The location at which the mount attaches to the rail is adjustable, so I would think so.

Yes, it is my understanding they will. I don't know this from experience though but I have seen it discussed in another thread.

They are available at your dealership.

i'd like the answer to this as well, as i have heard differently on some boards. if one rack fit both i don't think they would have two seperate parts that are different, but they do.

Check out the accessory section at BMWUSA.com. You can specify the model and then locate the accessory roof rack you are looking for. The part # is shown. See if they match. Typing from my phone so I can't check for you, but this should answer your question.

Regards,
David

they don't, there are two different part numbers. the dealers selling the oem racks on ebay as you to specify as well...so my guess is you need the coupe or sedan specific bars.

I had the factory rack from my e92 335i and use it just fine on my e90 M3.

Had it on today as matter of fact.

I know they have different part numbers but I couldn't tell any difference between the two and the parts guy couldn't either.

In my avatar it is on my old M3.

Thanks for the responses, I'll post back when my e92 finally shows up and I try to install my e90 rack. Hopefully it fits.
