Yes, it is my understanding they will. I don't know this from experience though but I have seen it discussed in another thread.

i'd like the answer to this as well, as i have heard differently on some boards. if one rack fit both i don't think they would have two seperate parts that are different, but they do.

they don't, there are two different part numbers. the dealers selling the oem racks on ebay as you to specify as well...so my guess is you need the coupe or sedan specific bars.

I had the factory rack from my e92 335i and use it just fine on my e90 M3.
Had it on today as matter of fact. I know they have different part numbers but I couldn't tell any difference between the two and the parts guy couldn't either. In my avatar it is on my old M3.

Thanks for the responses, I'll post back when my e92 finally shows up and I try to install my e90 rack. Hopefully it fits.
