I think MY 2007 was out in Europe, and the US got MY 2008. So, 4 years is kind of old compared to most of the cars in the review.

RCZ 4th? I think the aesthetics of it are debatable. Putting the RCZ aside M3 Competition only behind the SLS, R8 V10 Spyder and the 458, not too bad at all!

i know, why no gtr? probably because it would kick the crap out of everything they had and for a great price point.

The GTR is a fair point, but the other two are hardly likely to feature in a UK based test.

(They're hardly likely to perform well on the Anglesey circuit either)

If there's nothing better in-class, does it really matter whether it's fresh on the scene or many years old? AE's nitpick/comment suggests aged is an absolute negative which it is not in the case of the M3 which continues to be tops in its class notwithstanding other manufacturer's efforts to dethrone it.

The 2011 Mustang GT should definitely have made the top 20. Were the GTR and CTS-V in a previous year's list? Cuz that would explain why especially the GTR was left out.

My guess is: Quote Jason "The 3 day tests were conducted the Anglesey Circuit in England and included cars/editions launched in 2010."

Not sure if the GTR-Spec V has officially been released, so that would be my guess why no GT-R.

This review is rubbish. Seems very subjective than based on numbers. All the early cars got deducted for price and some how the Ferrari, SLS and R8 drop-top managed to top position despite their hefty price tag.

Ultimately it comes down to which car they like the best then reasoned why each fall into its place. And yea Peugeot is better than M3 competition.
