Anyone has any recent info on this project?

It seems the town has given approval and they are working through the environmental impact analysis. I saw some discussion on it on the SCCA forums, and it seems that it is still on, but there is no ETA that I am aware of.

I am tired of driving/towing for 6-7 hours to get to places...

Looks interesting. Wonder how they are financing it?

How's the E30 after the rebuild?

I think it might be financed by the group that owns NHMS, but I am not sure.

The E30 M3 is running strong, and it will soon be running even stronger after we drop in aggressive cams and start controlling fuel with an alpha/N piggyback ECU. I expect ~100hp/liter at that point.
