Teaser: Custom Front Lip (M3 GTR ALMS Style)

Working on a new lip for my baby! Should be interesting. What do you think? It will be gloss black, the blue is the protective coating.

Hmm, it's kinda like the APR splitter, no? If it's thin enough, that'd be a nice add-on to an existing front lip spoiler.

Thanks for the comments guys,

This is plexi, but not from TAP. Never heard of them. The final product will be made of something different if this doesn't hold up well enough.

Well see.

Cool, didn't know plexi could be used for this. Is plexi similar to FRP or fiberglass?

It looks like your car is sitting on a blue surfboard or something. It just looks like a flat piece of board that's under your bumper, not sure how that makes it a lip Props for being creative and thinking outside the box though!

Alright, I have an update! Did a test mount today. Looks great. I just had to peel that blue film off to see what it will really look like.

Need to shape it a little more, and polish it up.

Finished it up today!

Came out better than I ever thought it would. I still have to add some adhesive, but its pretty solid just with the 5 screws already there for the bumper.

Went for a little drive and Ill say that it will be more than solid at normal freeway speeds.

Ill get some better pics up this week.
