IMHO, the original rims would be the best and most beautifull, no aftermarket junk to my brandnew E92 M3. Size; 19 or 20", they should do the job perfectly.........................................

Thanxx for all the reply!!!
I think It gives little kick to the M3. I love to rock nice sneakers for my feet and nice rimes for my M3. That's just my style but I like to look little different from other. Stock is just too normal for me, how many other M3 I am going to see that's are same? I am not saying I want to look like drug dealers but..........how I am i going to find my M3 in parking lots? |

Yeah, but I am already saving cash toward FI for the car...so I think that saving the money and swapping over my old wheels, which are very beautiful still would be a smarter option. But those iForged wheels are very nice...whats the weight compared to the LMs?

Often I agree
Stock wheel are often great. I still have stock "Motorsport" wheels on my 95 E36 M3 and love em. Many cars I would not change stock wheels. However, like I said, what looks like it may be the production wheel is pretty hideous. I do have faith in BMW though. Only time will tell.

3. I definitely have never done anything half-assed, so if I do go Fi i will get some lower comp pistons/head gasket.
But I still am debating whether to spend $15K+ FI, or spend that toward going super high comp N/A moster. I dunno... we'll see what the checkbook looks like at the time, and how fast it is out the box. Because, the E46 M3 is a tad sluggish in stock form (- the CSL)-Pete. |

Whatever beautiful new rim designs BMW will put them out with will be fine for me. I have always hated the bling-bling look of 95% of third party wheels, and I'm very satisfied with BMW's M wheels especially, since they're built from lighter materials and optimized for the M cars, means less unsprung mass, and we all know what that means for the handling.
Best regards, Jussi |

BMW wheels are typically heavy. Good aftermarket wheels will reduce the unsprung weight. However, these are not the ones you typically see on cars. The track wheels I ran on my m3 used to weigh about 10lb less than the stock ones. However, they were also prone to bending as a result and I destroyed a few curb hopping at the track.
