2008 E92 M3
- Receive around 2007 fall
- Under 60k with some options
- 400+hp V8, 7spd SMG standard

I want to put a deposit down of $500 and possibly wait for this until next year, hoping to receive around this time.

Is my expectation way off?

Some of that sounds about right. It looks like the dates are about right, or at least I'm expecting this time next year. As for the price? Anybody's guess at this point. You might be a little low, but it depends on the options you want.

lux, i want to say that the smg is not standard.
i know in the m5 smg is standard, but i heard they are removing that to making stick standard.

so i think that'll xfer over to the m3 (having stick standard).

but im just guessing. rest sounds about right!
