E9x...E85 Ethanol?

After a quick search I could not find anything answering this question, forgive me if it has been covered.

I was reading that the GTR uses E85 and produces 470/480hp.

Will the production ('11) model work with E85 (FlexFuel)...it is readily available here in Denver and was not sure if it is an option, let alone more hp.

Thanks!

E85 won't work in a stock M3. Not sure if mods are available to make this an option.

There is alot of E85 discussions on 6speedonline in the turbo section. I know someone did it on a stock GT3 no changes needed. on m3 you prob need bigger injectors

I'm sure bigger injectors and probably a higher flowing fuel pump will be needed to run E85. On a 997TT for example, in order to run E85, the injectors needed to be swapped from 80lb for pump gas (already higher flowing than stock), to 2150cc injectors to run E85. Higher flowing factory fuel rails are also needed. The higher fuel flow will mean a decrease in fuel economy, but E85 is also pretty damn cheap compared to pump gas.
