Moving Back to the Motherland

I am in the military and will be moving to Stuttgart, DE later this year. I have a base 325i (Monaco Blue w/ Dakota Tan Leather) and run flats. The car doesn't have idrive or zenon lighting. I am curious what physical changes I will need to make w/ the car prior to shipping.

BTW, just rolled over 11k, and I still can't get enough of this car! The M3 is loads of fun, but DAMN! BMW got it right the first time around w/ the E90! I have vowed to take her to Moscow, RU and 300K....

Thanks,
Michael

You will not have to make any changes to your car. Being you are going to Germany on military/Department of Defense orders your car will be inspected upon entry into Germany to make sure it is not leaking fluids and is road worthy, then your good. Be sure to take alot of pictures of your car inside and out before you finally turn your car in for shipment. Any damage that happens to the car in transit you can get reimbursed to from the military (it's free insurance). Good luck and enjoy the Autobahn.

I agree, no mods needed. Years ago I had to take out my catalytic converters, but now adays not necessary!

Germany is salt-road heaven, make sure you wash you car under carriage regular during cold season.

if I were you, Id sell that car there and get a new bimmer to ship back after your tour is done
