2007 XK or 2007 M3 ???? - M3 Forum 2010 2009 BMW M3 2008 BMW M3 BMW E90 M3 E92

I am in a dilema about these two cars.
I was holding out for the new M3 to appear, but I have an opportunity to bag a 2007 XK for delivery March/April.

The XK will not perform like the M3, but it is one sweet looking car.
A car which makes me want to swap the wife for.

What would you guys do ?

I too lust after the XK.......It's one beautiful machine. I was looking at a new 6 or a 911. I saw the XK and the wife went a little nuts. We setteled for a 330 xi. I figure I really wanted a Z8, but a little tight on that much cash for a daily driver. I all but went to the Jag dealer to put the order in. I was just skeptical of a new model reliability from Jag, (Ford), as it will be a daily driver. But IT IS ONE SWEET RIDE!! If you are going to get an XK, you have to wait for the '07...a much more beautiful car than the '06.

I would get the M3 simply bc of what they can do performance wise and the maintainence is free.

wow, i'm suprised at the negative reaction to this car.
I am a BMW driver E91 330d Tourer, and like the brand, but the new XK Coupe is Sweet you got to admit that

not really since it was made by Ian it looks like all his other cars.

Aston martin, fisker brand and what not.

doesn't look too good, looks like a ford tauras, and the power isn't really awesome.

The new XK is nice, but it's front looks more Aston Martin-like than it does the original E-type or XKE.

When I first saw the new XK in pictures I was really puzzled by the looks of the car. After going to the L.A. show and seeing it up close and personal, it looks somewhat Jaguar but not Jaguar enough IMHO. I'll take the E92 M3.

although the 07 XK blataltly has the nose of the Taurus (we don't have that in the UK) it is still a very sublime car IMO.
Will the M3 make me feel the same way ?

whoaaa the interior of that jag daymmnnnn!!! but i would personally get the M3 lol, and yes i do agree that the new XK resembles a taurus no offense!! if i've got ur kinda money though, i would go for the new carrera or aston martin v8 vantage or even the M3...juz bcoz the aston and porsche are more upscale kinda brand...juz buy both cars dude!! the M3 and the XK lol
anyway its all up to ur preference, dont care bout what the peeps will say...its ur car so u're the one enjoyin it right?
