It looks that way, don't think he realizes I am a United fan, however I don't think Spurs will be such the pushover Madrid fans think they will.

They are considerably better than bottom of the table Hercules, third from the bottom Malaga and seventh from the bottom Santander which is 3/4 of their 'hot streak' for the last month, they also failed to beat fifth from the bottom Deportivo away in February.

However I must give them some credit they did beat the other Madrid team this month.

Spurs definitely have a good shot considering they have some excellent talent in their side and NO pressure. Also i think Ronaldo will be out of that game for RM.

cute, a Manure fan making fun of Madrid...classic!

I hear it all day all nite, "har har Madrid hasn't won a KO round in 6 years", "5-0 drubbing from barca", "alcorcon beat you 4-0, lol", etc.

Typical

yep, and IF (big IF by the way) we happen to get past the Spurs, we are likely going to face Barca in the semis, so the path to the 10th is going to be a very very tough one.

but hey, that's why the games are played! I'm worried about this tuesday with all the injuries we have, specially to our best player and our most in-form striker, as well as our left back. Hopefully we can maintain a clean score sheet and put the pressure on the away game.

I wasn't making fun, I was pointing out how Real are not the invincible team you think they are. You have a hard enough time being a Real fan how it is, you don't need anymore grief from me

If you give up a goal on Tuesday then you should be very worried about the English leg.

I still want to know why you labeled me with "gotta love the non-playing so called "fans""

I don't understand how the hell I missed this thread being a die-hard Barca fan (since Kluivert used to play for them..haha). I guess I am a "real" fan too since I still play 2-3 times a week.
BTW screw Real...and I really mean that.

Kluivert. That was several years ago.

The first time I went to Europe with United was back in '94. I will always remember it, Barcelona, cool city, great atmosphere, beautiful women, tasty food, embarrassing game! We were 1-0 down before I even got in the stadium, Stoichkov and Romario ran all over us and we were hammered 4-0. I remember despite the loss all the United fans being in great spirits and us sat outside drinking on Las Ramblas hearing - 'we only lost 4-0' all night long.

^^^Oh man Romario....wow you took it back a little there for me...as a matter of fact I was on vacation in Barca back in the summer of '94 and you are right it was/is a beautiful city...never drank so much sangria and ate so much paella in my life...LOL. Thats when I decided Barca would be "my team"....

ABQ325i...you're an Englishman..can you explain what the big deal is with Rooney cursing into the camera. I get that it's a no-no as it is here, but the media is acting like he committed murder on camera. What's the big deal?

what most people outside the recent barca bandwagon know and understand is this:

RM is like a fine 30 year old Whiskey
Barca is like a f*cking cosmopolitan

Recent? Since when is Kluivert, Romario, and Stoichkov recent? It was over 15 years ago??? If any team has millions of people jumping on the bandwagon constantly over the last 3 decades it would be Real Madrid and Man U (sorry guys its true). So like I said as a Barca fan is screw Real Madrid....go ahead and buy all the "top" players like you always do and still don't live up to expectations

I like to think of Barca as more of a fine Cognac than a cosmo (yuck)

LMAO....naw I am not "that" type of fan. I "respect" Real but I still want them to lose....does that make sense? And don't get me started on Ibrahimovic (he shoulda stayed with the Italians...ugh)...We shoulda kept Eto'o too...ugh...don't get me started on the things they have done to piss me off over the years...LOL....what I was saying is true though and you know it: Real has a history of throwing money around worse than any football team on the planet...you know its true!

p.s. This is all bitterness over the so-called "superteam" of the early 2000's w/Beckham, my fav Zizou, Carlos, Ronaldo, Raul (i am not a Real fan but i love that guy..i call him old faithful), and all the other superstars they had...i mean it was unreal the talent on that team...they should've been blowing teams out left and right....

well, now that you sound like you are not trolling, I can have a good conversation with you!

First, I agree that under florentino Perez, we are really stupid in our spending (on both of his presidencies). I mean, getting CR7 AND benzema was big enough, but Kaka + Xabi Alonso, etc? talk about Spending more than Obama The good thing for us, is that Man. City is making us look cheap as of late! hehehe.

Second, I think Barca is playing some ridiculous soccer right now...just untouchable! So even though I hate them with every fiber in my body, I have to admit they are hard to beat unless you have your A-game and do not get scared.

Third, I wished that their "leaders" would show more class with all the success they are having. Pep is the only guy who keeps a level head and tries to keep humility in that team. Laporta/Rosell talk more sh!t than a brooklyn boxer, and have no respect nor class as "presidents". The whole sprinklers incident with Inter, the constant trolling with Cesc at Arsenal, the pompousness of "we win trophies", etc, is what drives most people crazy....specially Madrid fans.

the good thing is that we face you twice in april, with a very good chance of making it 4 times, and with la liga pretty much in your hand, it will be interesting to see what happens.

Whoa Buddy slow down..... Real Madrid and Tottenham is more likely Real

Barca and Shaktar most likely Barca but you never know

Chelsea could easily take on Manchester
