Disable the halogen bulb when headlamps in AUTO?

So when the headlamps are in "auto", and you activate the turn signal, the stupid halogen bulb on that side's inner projector turns on to illuminate the turn or whatever. It looks dumb and serves no purpose (that I can see). It doesn't do this when you have the lamps set to "on".

Is there a way to code this out? My car has adaptive headlamps, if it matters.
