I know Kscarrol is in Louisiana and is going through the Brunswick port, so I would assume Texas is the same (I don't believe BMW uses any ports in the Gulf).

Thanks for the info. Yeah, as per the vehicle inquiry report, the port loc is "SSIPOA," which I believe is Brunswick, GA.

My car is supposed to complete production by 29th, (was 28th a few days back )... I am really hoping to get it before Thanksgiving.

I should think you'll have it by then. My car was finished 9/7 and will land in Brunswick on 9/28. Another 14 days or so and I'll have it. Barring something unforeseen, you should have it by mid-Nov.

My car finshed production on 9/21 and is currently waiting at port of exit (so says the 1-800 #). It should be going through Brunswick, GA. I hope to have it first week of NOV.

Thanks 58DScout. Mine will probably be on your boat. Produced on 9/23 and was on the way to the port yesterday or the day before. I'm in Atlanta, so I'm curious what boat it'll be on. (It never occured to me that they might offload somewhere other than Charleston.) Guess I need to put my VIN in once it is onboard to confirm the vessel.

And keep in mind that BMW is now using other shippers to the east coast, not just WW. My car is on the Bosporus Highway, a K-Line ship which is scheduled to dock at Brunswick on 9/28. Key is getting the ship name from the your CA. I kept searching for my VIN in the WW website until CA told me the ship name and that it was a K-Line ship...

Wow I think there is something wrong with my M- I finished assembly on the 17th and the car has been in quality check since then and hasn't moved from there! I see people on this thread that had completion dates AFTER my car and they are already on their way to a port of exit or already on a ship....WTF!!!

Production Completed Sept 28th

Brand new 20's BBS RS-GT and Eibach springs stored away for a month now. Cant wait to put them on!

Can anyone tell me what VPC my car goes to, if my destination port is Brunswick, GA? From what I hear, there are only 3 VPCs in the country- in CA, SC, and NJ. If this is the case, why do they simply not ship it to NY>NJ, and then to my dealer in Texas?

Good question!! I recall hearing that BMW was using some third parties for inspections and prep (including MB!) so maybe the cars don't physically have to go to one of the three VPC's anymore. Otherwise I suppose our cars are offloaded at Brunswick, trucked to the SC VPC and then on to the dealers...

Only took 2 Days to get to the port. Average travel to port is 3 days. The wait is almost over!

Looks like I missed the Temora which leaves Bremerhaven today so the next ship leaves on 10.06, which is 6 more agonizing days sitting at the port. So I suppose it'll be on the Fedora!!!

My vehicle's production completed on the 29th, and it's waiting at the port for a vessel today- that was a quick turnaround!

I know a ship called Courage is leaving on the 3rd- I am hoping to get on that.
