Way too overdone and done poorly. At the end where the music stopped to give that cliffhanger feel, I thought the camera angles would change. But it didn't and I stopped getting excited. Then when the M3 actually came out, the headlights made it impossible to appreciate the unique color. Lame.

Music was great though.

Why on earth would BMW spend this money to make a short film for an M3 that has nothing but tiger stitchings on the headrests? Are they crazy? Spend the money on developing technology! Or how about federalizing some GTS components for the US market?

They're smart, if you know anything about the chinese car market for these cars, customers are lining up and willing to pay significant premiums over list price for this car.

It's a good business to be in the luxury car market in China, the pricing system is opaque, and the demand is high. You thinking paying $90k here for a Nissan GTR is overkill, you don't even want know how much ppl pay for standard Ferrari's over there. Yes the standard issue F430 could go at a 20%-30% premuim OVER list price there.

I was at a car show where a customer at the car show bought the Bugatti Veyron Pur Sang, on the spot with a premium. Can't remember if they made him agree that he'll take deliver after the show, or whether he took it home that day.

But I agree though, in the US market eyes, the M3 Tiger is just complete BS. But don't be so naive on what the Chinese like, they got money, they'll spend it. (have you been to a casino recently, have a look and see who's sitting at the high rollers tables)
