Need Quick Help

My glove box wont open unless I use the key manually on it and turn left. Its default though is to stay locked unless i do that. My dealer said there is a valet mode that might have been engaged and that there could be a switch to turn that off. Does anyone know where that switch is or how to get the glove box to open normally? It just randomly happened once after i got into my car.

It should be in the glove box near the usb slot. Not sure if the 2011 is different but it should be in the manual.

Seems it was mechanical, anyways dealer fixed is fairly quick over lunch and even bought me lunch!

There is a USB spot in the glove box?

Yes there is. You can download your ipod songs onto the hard drive. I think its like a 12Gig HD in the car.

sorry to high jack the thread, but I had no idea there is a USB port in the glove box and that it's possible to down load songs on the HD in the car. amazing. thanks.
