Tracking Car Production (Owners Circle) ?

I just logged into my Owners Circle and I cannot find a Tracking option anywhere. Could this be because the plant is closed during the month of August?

I looked EVERYWHERE and I could not find a link for it.

You need to have an account set up/register with the website. You then need to add the vehicle using the production order number or the VIN if you have that. Then you will be able to track. But the website is always behind! The most timely information can be had from your CA or BMWNA's 800 #.

I already have an account, as I own/owned a 2005 BMW M3 Coupe. I looked and I cannot find a place to enter in a production number.

Help!?

I've been tracking my car for a little over a week now and it's still stuck at "On Order"- I assume it's because the factory is closed in August. Once it reopens it'll move to "Scheduled for Production" correct?

It should but calling the 800 number or having your salesperson check will get you the latest information. Unless the website has been dramatically updated since my last order in 2007, it is usually behind. In fact it said my car was "Awaiting Transport" the day it arrived at my dealer!

It hasn't. The website blows chunks, the automated telephone service is a bit better but still lags behind.

Website is useless. Call the # or ask your CA to pull it up(more accurate).

Agree. Also, after going through the automated system, you can press "0" and speak to a customer relations person. Their system also is more up-to-date than the automated system. So they maybe able to tell you your car has started production and has an estimated completion date even before the automated system.

I am currently having problems tracking the car and I am a bit worried since the car was ordered on june 18th and still has not arrived. I am worried that something happened to it during its travel. Maybe it is that I live in PR and the ships don't sail from there to here as often. The other thing is that the same status (production complete) has been showing on the phone for about a month now. Shouldn't it be updated as it is already september? I am also thinking that they might have confused the order or something because a few weeks ago a car just like it but with fox red interior and tech package showed up, and the dealer doesn't usually order manual cars.
