Mista Vanquish: Sounds like "budget" isn't a problem for you. If you're okay with the pricing on some of these, yes, a few of the above would be nice. Might want to look at that titanium Akrapovich. But if you're looking for a good look, sound and quality build, you can't beat Remus' stuff. For the price, they're unreal. When I get my M3, I'm going Remus "Race" with Fabspeed X pipes. I heard that exact combo at the Nor. Cal. / So. Cal. Euro event in Newark this past weekend. Wicked cool. Deep and low at low rev's and then when he revved it hard, it had a nice, almost straight pipe sound, but without that high pitched crackly ear splitting noise usually heard. The owner, a guy I'd say was in his 50's, said it's his D/D too. He says he can hear it, but he says it's not a bother at all. It was an '09, already had 40K mi. on the speedo. Dude's been drivin' .

AA is not the loudest, but it's one of the best compromises for someone looking for something that can be heard, but doesn't tire you on a cross country drive.

Was it the full exhaust?

Not sure why many people dont mention Remus Race, but it sounds brilliant, clean hidden look, great tips, great price! Some people think it "drones", but they obviously havent run a car with no cats and straight thru mufflers....now THAT is drone....
