CLK550 owners thinks that they are faster

Hey guys,

This long talk about the CLK550 vs E9x M3 on mbworld forums. This guy "swears" that he owned up a few e92 M3s. I myself is a C55 AMG owner, and it's no where as quick as my M3. All these guys are from NY.

LOL someone mentionned about Bolt on M3 on one of those pages... A Bolt on M3 does add quite a LOT.

Im Bolt on and raced my friends C63 AMG (his only mod is secondary cat removal if you want to call it a mod) from about 60 to 180 and took about 2 1/2 cars on him.

Based on the numbers if this guy did beat an M3 that owner did NOT know how to drive his car. When I do roll ons Im revving at 4500 to 5000 RPM (5000 beng the preferred). I dont like doing races from dead stops as I SUCK on launching this car and I dont want to kill my clutch. Im sure a lot of cars can kick my ass from a dead stop and this is why I prefer tracking or roll on races over drags.

ive witnessed my friends clk550 pull on my friends e46 m3...

they are quick but e92 m3 i dont know...

lol, I own a C55 AMG as well, and I'm sure my AMG is faster than a stock CLK550. I have work done to my AMG, but my E90 M3 is quick. I have to admit that the M is def faster, but not as torquey

The M3 kills the CLK in straight line speed....3 seconds faster than the CLK to 200 kmh....that's what, 10 cars lenghts??

The clk500/550 is more of a 335i competitor (with some luck for clk)

The CLK550 has about 80 more HP than the 500... not the right car. The new 550 is a quick car. But it won't beat an M3 with a good driver.
