Best Pedal Option

Just got my first E92 in the last month. Silverstone with MT. WOW, I love this freaking car.

I want to get some new pedals. Thoughts?

3D Design, if you can swallow the price tag.

Pics of the 3D Design?

Modbargins' pedals are very nice IMO... Look at Kloh's car... Gorgeous

I went with the 3D design pedals. They look and feel great. Just wish they were less expensive.

Hi WCH,

Do you mind posting close up shots of your pedals? I'm especially interested in seeing what it looks like from the back and profile angles.

What was the installation like?

Thumbs up

Of course...I prefer these: MRTM Design E9x Pedal Pad Set installed in Titan316's Sick E92 M3 DCT!

Also, before anyone starts with the "I'd never run all metal pedal pads"...I guarantee you these grip better than any rubber inserted pedal pads or any other all metal pedal pads...Why? They are clear anodized & anyone who knows anything about anodizing or coating will tell you that clear anodizing will give you a tackiness to the surface that is greater than any rubber insert can offer you.

I don't have pictures but they look like Leemik's set up:

http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthr...ighlight=pedal

The install is easy. You need to use a titanium drill to get through the brake pedal. The accelerator is easy to drill but I needed to buy an additional long screw to attach them. The kit came with 2 and I needed three.

Not a scientific observation, just feel like my '11 does this better and since you have to change out the whole accelerator assembly, it makes me wonder.

Perfect, thanks. I'll probably pull the trigger on them in a few weeks.

Since they come from Japan, if they are not in stock it can take some time for them to arrive. I got mine from WheelSTO. Highly recommended.

Yeah, that's who I'd go through. Julius quoted me a pretty aggressive price on them a few months ago, but they're still relatively pricey. We'll see how it goes...

I'll throw one more out there: Ultimate Pedals.

My wife has these on her Z4M, and they're awesome. They come in 12 different finishes/textures/grips so you can really find exactly what you want in terms of looks and grip. They spent a good deal of time working with her over the phone to configure the right pedal option for her needs (heel/toe extension, texture).

Here's the DIY I posted with pics of my wife's install, and others posted a few more pics/tips as well.

There are quite a few good options to pick from in this thread, good luck with your choice and install.

Great responses..thanks to all for the input. I had seen some of the suggestions, but not the 3D design...those are the ones. The gray finish with the black circular cut outs will go with my black interior.
