E60 M5 Winters on E92 M3?

I asked the dealer if the E60 winter wheels would fit on the E92, and they said no, are they being over critical? or is it totally not a good idea / impossible.

I have the Double Spoke 184M package off my previous M5.

The E60 has a larger center bore; I beleive 74.xx mm vs 72.xx mm of our cars.

Let me get this straight... You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
