Again, you can pay whatever the hell you want to pay, that's your money. However, I stated a factual example on how a messed up ordering system can cost thousands of dollars to BMW customers. What have you contributed other than absurd and plain incorrect information?

If anything, that's what is ridiculous.

So what you are telling me is that BMW is shipping identical M3's to dealers in the U.S., and those cars have different MSRP's per the window sticker. I don't agree. BMW would have their ass handed to them if they were to do that.

And how do you explain the earlier posts to this thread where buyers called their CA's after the system was corrected for the Premium Package 2? Did the dealers say, "sorry - when we placed the order the system showed $2500 + $950 for leather + $500 for carbon trim". Instead, the CA pointed out that the pricing in the system has corrected itself. I'm willing to bet pretty much anything that when the Sept. build M3's start showing up in the states, not a single one will have a window sticker showing MSRP of $2500 for Premium 2 package and then also add $500 for carbon trim and $950 for leather.

Hey guys, just talked to my CA and it's confirmed. Invoice pricing for the packages are as follows:
ZCV 2640
ZCP 2275
ZCW 685
ZP2 2275
752 1740 (enc. sound)
mineral white 500
no additional charges for carbon trim and fox red leather.

I don't know any other way to explain the obvious here... if by your own CA admission -or so that person said- the system is "most often than not" wrong in pricing then you in fact are taking a gamble with your order price.

Which does not make any business sense to me as a customer, but that's me.

Again, and for the last time, ordering errors do show up in the window sticker. So this is an issue of either arguing about the assumed pricing at time of delivery or just making sure that the ordering system price now is what you definitely will expect to be at time of delivery.

Good luck everybody...

What pricing are you guys getting on these cars. ON M3forum one of the guys told me he got Invoice - $1K. + options. He also stated that he did ED and they gave him an additional 7%. I just trying to make sure since my dealer here in texas is not wanting to go down from MSRP.

Any info would be great.

Go to a different dealer. I'm getting it at invoice price for the car and options. E90 with Jerez Black+ZCP+ZCV+ZP2+DCT+Heated Seats for 60,360 before my state tax of 3%. The price includes destination fee of 875 and gas guzzler of 1300. I'm also doing ED.

Some observation about the new pricing

interesting - I'd assume that ZTP will now have 1 invoice price going forward now that EDC is no longer part of ZCV? In the past, 2011 ZTP has 2 prices - one for cars with ZTP + ZCP, and one for ZTP only.

I have also done some quick math to see what these price changes are all about, and I came with these observations (all prices are invoice)

*Lowest Price increase if you already wanted 6FL and Alarm and ZTP & ZCP*
I priced out my spec for the E92 that originally already had alarm and 6FL, and invoice looks to be $153 more now (see table at bottom) with ZCV instead of ZTP.

*If you want to have 19 inch wheel, BMW wants you to buy ZCP instead of EDC+2MT (19 Style 220M)*
I think BMW is steering folks to the ZCP package if you want to get 19 inch wheels. Here is the analysis: ZCP ($2,275) - (2MT ($1,140) + 223 ($910)) = $2,050 (1,140+910), which is $225 bucks difference, for a lowered ride height, and new EDC programming. For reference, the pre-September difference was (ZTP+ZCP) ($2,275+$2,275) - (ZTP+2MT)($2,960+$1,090) = $500.

*Depends on your configurations, you may have you pay $1000 more compared to pre-Sept pricing*
Btw, this new set of pricing is highly disadvantageous to folks who did not want 6FL, alarm, or ZCW, but wanted ZTP+ZPP. The reason is that 1) ZP2 raised price by $455 compared to ZPP, 2 you have to now buy EDC ($910), 3) even though there is a $365 drop for ZCV, you now have to pay $910+455-365 = $1,000 (exactly) more. if you wanted 6FL & alarm before, this increase is $1,000-$730 = $270.

Old pricing
E92 ED invoice $49,965
Metallic Color $500
302 $365
6FL $365
6NF $135
655 $320
ZCP $2,275
ZPP $1,820
ZTP (with ZCP) $2,275

Total ED invoice $58,020

Assumed New pricing according to previous posts
E92 ED invoice $49,965 (given base invoice did not change)
Metallic Color $500
6NF $135
655 $320
ZCP $2,275
ZP2 $2,275
ZCV $2,640

Total ED new invoice $58,173

^ pretty much. If you are buying a fairly loaded car, it's either the same or slightly different. If you were intending to buy a base car with just one major option package, then it seems to be costing you about $1000 more.

Correct. My order is just about fully loaded (didn't get Cold Weather, sunshade or moonrood)...and my Sept. build price is actually about $500 less than the pre-Sept. costs.

Is anyone aware if the September changes, both build and pricing, will affect E9x M3 configurations destined for Canada?

I'm getting $800 over invoice for my car and the options I want. Not doing ED. I'm kinda pissed though since the new pricing is costing me $1300 more. Oh well!

Start asking questions about dealer fees also (doc fees, conveyance fees, administrative fees, etc - whatever they want to call them). Its fine to be talking about invoice and how much over invoice you will be paying, but many dealers add on fees that drive up the out the door price substantially. They intentionally don't tell you about the fees until the end when you are sitting down to sign the contract. So its great getting the car for $500 or $800 or whatever over invoice, but when they add in $500 - $1000 in fees, now the deal isn't so great. I am going through this now with my dealer so I just wanted to share. Next time I will be sure to negotiate an "out the door" price rather than x dollars over invoice.

So still no word on the "confidential wholesale pricing", or did I just miss it?

The major packages are listed earlier in the thread. One person even posted his order sheet which included wholesale and MSRP pricing. It seemed to tie to what I saw on TrueCars and other places for invoice pricing on various options.

Thanks. I saw those, but I was hoping they would have the ED price(base car price) to see if that had changed any. I know the invoice options pricing are the same, ED or not.

Sorry about that, didn't realize you were looking for ED information...

Yeah it seems if it was fully loaded you will pay a few hundred bucks less. Where as I was getting Premium package, tech package, DCT, USB, Comp pack. It seems Ill pay about 1k more because of the extra charges of Premium pack 2 and the Convience package. Kinda shitty but oh well.

I am wondering about that myself, piloto. However, my guess is that the ED base price for the car should still be the same, given the base US invoice price is the same.
