Sebring performance
The car performed terrific. Ambient temps 100F+. Ran consistent 2:30-2:31 lap times at Sebring. Sport setting was a bit too much for this rough track, but normal was ideal. I couldn't catch my buddies running their GT3s in the sub-2:30 range, but a small trade off for one hell of a car. I ran pagid yellows and SRF with NT-01s (275/35/18) all around. No brake fade, no warped rotors (pad deposits). Tires and pads got better as the day went on. I was still learning shift points, ran out of RPM before a few select corners (may consider short shifting in the future), with the DCT this car could easily gain 2-3 seconds. But I couldn't stand the harassment I'd endure from my P-car buddies (all have manuals).
I am very pleased. This is one heck of a car. The icing on the cake was riding home in comfort mode as I watch my buddies bounce around in their GT3s.

Sebring is awesome. Got a chance to run therewhen I had my e46 M3. Would love to try it in the new M3. Did you go with the Porsche Club?
