iPhone 4 = Free Bumper

Anyone who purchased an iPhone 4 until September 30th. You will receive a refund if you purchased a bumper already.

So for October they anticipate to have the antenna problem solved? I hate the way cases look. If they can't get this figured out I will not buy the new phone, and will drop ATT as my provider, as they are just adequate enough (in conjunction with offering the iPhone) for me to sign with them

The reception on my new iPhone 4 is way better than 3GS. I can actually make calls in my basement and it won't drop. That was not possible with 3GS. This thing has been way overblown IMO

My sister's 4 is on par with my 3GS as far as signal goes

It's absolutely absurd Apple was going to make their customers pay for a problem they knew about (although it didnt surprise me).

I thought it was funnier that some of my apple fanboy friends thought they should get them free, but said, "well $30 isn't that much."

I still think bars don't mean jack, most of the time. I remember being in locations in college where I had zero bars and some of my friends would have full bars or close to it, I could make calls and they couldn't.

I think the proper question is: Do we keep it or return it? And why Sept 30th?

I think they wont have the issue resolved by then unless they do a redesign which will NOT happen by then. I hope a case solves my issues otherwise I'm out! I dropped a call sitting on my couch talking to AT&T tech support last night.

Let's hope a case prevents us from attenuating the signal

"Apple will offer a free iPhone 4 Bumper or other select cases to iPhone 4 customers. Details on how to order a free Bumper or case will be available soon on apple.com."
