Anyone know how to spell bimmer/beamer/beemer i dont know which one is right, and how did BMWs end up being called bimmers? (im guessing xenons? lol)

Bimmer = BMW Cars

Beemer = BMW Motorcycles

Its a silly question because its not a real word. Its a slang term for BMW.

Bimmers is correct if you're referring to the cars. For an example check out Bimmer magazine.

People think that all BMWs are beamers/beemers but as MarkR stated, that refers to the motorcycle and bimmer refers to the car.

From wikipedia - "In the US, specialists have been at pains to prescribe that a distinction must be made between using Beemer exclusively to describe BMW motorcycles, and using Bimmer only to refer to BMW cars"
