any of you guys have a bit of trouble with some body work at bmw of fairfax earlier this month? saw a brand new melbourne red zhp E92 in the parking lot with markup all over it pointing out flaws (which i assumed to be from you to the shop).

The mark up is generally done when you arrive and a tech comes out with a special marker. The owner goes over the area he wants fixed and the tech starts marking as the owner points the areas out.

I've used BMW of FFX body shop before for some minor things - never had an issue and they've done a good job on my previous car.

yeah - these marks were more "compound here" and "swirl marks there" (and there were a ton) so i thought it might have been feedback from the customer. the car didn't have any noticeable damage.

i just used fairfax for a repair myself. had to go through two rounds, but happy with the result now.
