it is not going to be hard to fix but it might need to get a monthly visit to the paint shop

Never polish or wax the frozen gray paint as it could lead to a glossy surface.
If washing your frozen gray M3 in a automatic car wash choose a car wash that does not apply vehicle wax. Rinse the M3 with high pressure water to remove dirt before sending it through the automatic car wash to avoid scratches from sand, dust and other micro-particles.
Remove bugs, bird poo, tree sap, tar, fuel spills or oil immediately using a soft sponge.
Avoid strong rubbing while cleaning the frozen paint. BMW sells suitable products for maintaining the frozen paint at your local dealer.
Repairs to the paint (scratches, dents, etching) must be completed by a BMW trained body shop. Most auto body shop will not be capable of repairing the frozen gray paint.
In other words, you will need to baby this car’s finish. If you planned on buying matte paint and then treating like any other car, you may want to reconsider your paint choice.

So if you get a door ding, instead of getting PDR for under 100 bucks, you'd have to take it to a "BMW trained body shop" and pay a significant amount more. That's pretty lame.

If you're out for the day and parked and a bird shits on your car, there's a good chance that you won't be able to clean it right away. For normal paint, if the damage was so bad a good detailing shop could wet sand and polish and buff the paint. But if something like this happens to frozen paint, you'd have to take it to a "BMW trained body shop" and again....pay a lot. That's just my opinion though. It does look sick, but I'd rather get regular space grey and then vinyl it to make it look "iced"

The color looks good. But yesterday Autoblog said the future owner of frozen gray M3 must sign some stupid agreements about the paint with BMW.

I actually like the color. It is a lot better in person and contrary to popular belief not hard to maintain. Doesn't look dirty after the rain and completely hides the swirl marks and light scratches.

However, I wouldn't say this is a first US Spec Frozen Grey M3, since the real first US Spec Frozen Grey M3 was an E90 M3, delivered two months before they even announced the "Special Edition".

I acknowledge the fact that it is E92, but is it really special edition if there was M3 already in this color regardless if E92 or E90.

From what I heard, some dealers were crying really loud when they learned about the E90 M3 in Frozen Grey.....

Interesting about the #1 . This is what Turner Motorsports say on their Facebook page:
"Turner Motorsport receives the first of 30 limited edition BMW Individual "Frozen Gray" M3s featuring a unique matte-silver paint job and individual two-toned leather interior."

And then I found this as well....
