Looking forward to this day. We'll have many M3's, an MB C63 AMG and an RS4 so we can recreate the Top Gear episode. Also looking forward to see how the Lotus Evora and 135i with M package look on the track.

I could probably bail on the work commitment however it is a client day and they do pay the bills - the hard part would be telling by wife why I am going to miss my flight to NYC with her so I can make a track day! lol

I'm so excited for this! It turns out a university friend of mine is part of organizing this and another one of my friends is coming in his G37! I have to be sure not to get passed by him!

Brilliant day!

I learned a very imortant lesson. The M3 is faster around a track than almost anything, but with me behind the wheel it is slower than a mid '90's Honda Civic!

Great day and thanks to everyone who set it up.

Strangely my car feels happier now too, a little looser, like it got a massage.

Well that was a fantastic day!We had a great turnout with a great turnout with a great collection of cars including a 4 day old Lotus Evora and lots of E9x M3's.The day started out wet that great for the newbies learning the track but by late morning the track had totally dried out which made for a great day.
The day went really well with amazing progress from some of the participants and there was a lot of fun had by all those attended.Overall I was really impressed with the attitude and skill level shown by the majority of the entrants.Pictures will follow!

Everyone had a really great time on Friday, even those who had to take a few Gravols after riding shotgun in the E92 M3's without the traction control engaged... And special mention goes out to the Audi RS4 that doubled as a riding lawnmower coming into a corner late in the day!

Thanks again guys for organizing a perfect day.

Wow, looks like fun. I also watched a few other videos you posted Gearhead999s - awesome!

First time I have a car (my current BMW) that's made me want to push a car further and learn how to drive such that I could one day nail corners like that... Must be exhilarating to be able to drive a car at speeds like that with precision, smoothness, and a perfect feeling of control...

Any advice on the best way to get started on learning how to do that? Take those BMW driving training courses and move up step by step that way? Other ways to get trained? Any advice for this total newbie would be much appreciated - thanks!
