Boheme Status

Just found out my ED delivery is on the Boheme. I dropped in Munich on Jun 30 with scheduled delivery to Port Brunswick on July 26. Hoping for a quick customs clearance for re-delivery at the Performance Center on Friday, Aug 13th (is that bad??). Looks like I will miss being able to do a driving school but will have about 900 miles to get to know my car.

Here is the tracker: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...MMSI=563262000

Anyone else?

What's a good way to track the progress of my E92 being built and all that? I see that bmwusa.com is not that accurate?

No it is not updated....mine doesn't even show in transit yet on that site.

Here is some info:

If an ED, you can call the ED office and they can tell you what ship and an ETA....takes about a week after it is loaded on the boat. There is also a status update tracker from the Harms. Otherwise you should be able to have your CA find out or just call the BMW Customer line. They may be able to tell you the ship.

Then here is a link to a tracker: http://www.marinetraffic.com/ais/shi...MMSI=563262000 This tracking site shows you what you can see once you find out the ship it is on....then just look it up and you'll get some real time info...enjoy!

Apparently the Boheme just left the South Hampton port and is traveling at 11.5 knots....but who's checking.

^^^^^

wow this is really awesome!
I wish I did ED, but .... I didn't
I will make sure to go that route next time around...

I just placed an order on E92 M3 to be delivered locally and was simply poking around to see what other ways of tracking the progress besides harrasing my CA?

Thank's so much for the info though. Congrats!

I'm on the Boheme as well. Supposed to be at the New Jersey VPC on July 21st. So I can expect it at my dealer in PA before the end of the month. Problem is, I'll be in CA until August.

Doh!!

Boheme is in NY on time. Looks like a day or so at port to unload and then it moves back out.

I doubt it is at the performance center if it was just unloaded on the 21st. But if it is there then it is ready to go.

Most are seeing 7-21 days in customs and VDC. Then you have delivery to the PC.

For those interested in tracking through customs, go to W W website directly under track & trace:

http://www.2wglobal.com/www/customerCentre/index.jsp

Put in your Vin # in the Cargo ID field.

Mine shows:

DISCHARGED BRUNSWICK, GA 24-07-2010 15:45:46 1
LOADED ON VESSEL BREMERHAVEN 08-07-2010 12:17:16 1
RECEIVED AT TERMINAL BREMERHAVEN 07-07-2010 08:00:44 1
BOOKED BREMEN 01-07-2010 14:20:12 1

So 4 days and counting and still in customs. Once clear, you can then contact the ED office at 1-800-932-0831 to track through the VDC and to the ultimate destination.
