Hi fellas. Last weekend, I had a chance to do a short drive with some local BMW buddies from Hendrick BMW dealership in Charlotte. We took a ride through the Pisgah National Forest, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain, and over to a route called The Diamondback (Blue Ridge Parkway, and NC 226A). I know this isn't the proposed route by Ashley. However, it might make for a nice drive on another trip. Take that special someone on a little weekend drive. Look at the fall foliage. Rent a place at bed and breakfast... Just an idea for you local members!

Took some pics when I was out on the drive. It was foggy, and we hit a little precip, but loads of fun nonetheless! The sun even came out for a little while. Best driving roads I've ever been on.

Would love to have you Stalker. The plan right now is to be in Boone, NC between 10-11AM on 9/18. We need to nail down the exact time and where to meet. We have a couple proposed routes around the area. I am sure we will grab lunch somewhere and I think some of the guys are planning on spending the night. Let us know if you can make it.
