LCI Tail lights Review
Hi, got a chance to change my tail ligth to the LCI. When I first install the lights. I got 2 errors.(The turn signal errors), Other than that there is no error. I didnt change the FRM module. All I used is the OEM BMW harness and resistor to get rid of the errors. The lights flicker during start up but other than that everything is fine. No more rapid blinker turn signal. Here are some video.Hope it helps.
.Here's the link to the video Here is my manufacture date of the car ![]() D'z |

Can you elaborate a bit more?
Which OEM harness are you referring to? The original on your car or a 2011 harness? What resister did you use? Where did you insert it? Thanks so much!

We do not like resistors or load/equalizers and they will heat up, creating a possible fire hazard if there is insulation nearby. Load Equalizers have been the source of a number of problems on the previous e46 models and Light Switch modules (LCM).

Technically it's European, but it will be the same PN when US dealers eventually stock this part stateside. You can import it from any UK vendor in the meantime, though.

Thanks for the info. Didn't know this was available. I went with Alekshop's harness. They use OEM adaptors & wires in their assembly. That was my best alternative to an OEM harness.
