M3 vs Vanquish

So it happened to me yesterday, from 0-100 mph I was faster then the Vanquish, he did not get a bad start and weirdly I was quite a bit faster, it was the regular Vanquish not the S model, either he did not know how to change gears or is M3 really faster? I have dct and I did not use Launch control....

Garage List
2011 E90 M3  [5.00]
Vanquish Curb weight is 4045, and 460hp. They should be pretty close to even but with the DCT and a better start, yup you could definately take em, I guess as you did. Especially at higher speed DCT really shines and can easily give you an advantage.

Cheers.

I'm suprised anyone driving an Aston would take the time to drag race a kid-racer m3. Just sayin'...

Not really that odd............. I posted in an earlier thread about a kill I had in my friends 11 E92 M3............... hung with a Ferrari 360 until 120 then we pulled him. Could have been driver error on his part, but a kill is a kill in my book.

So you're "just sayin'" that everyone on this board drives "kid racers?"

Commit Harakiri and your honor will be restored.

I drive an e92 m3 and love it. Am am also 27 and know that I won't be driving an m3 when I'm older than 35.

I do love the attention this car draws at times, but it mainly comes from teenage boys and not grown men and women. Hence, this is the dream car of 16 year olds. That was also my dream in highschool and now that I have it, its done. "just sayin'".......

I call BULLSHIT!!!!
I am 38 and purchasing my first M3
Most teenage "boys" where I live in GERMANY dont know the difference between a 316/318/320/328/335/M3.
If it was your 16 y/o dream car, apparently you were a bit more affluent than I was. At 16 I was happy to have 4 wheels and a motor...... that I PAID for.

just sayin'

The above paragraph truly sums up who you are as a person....
You care more about who's looking at you than anything else and quite frankly, those 16 year olds weren’t looking at the car, they where laughing at that haircut.

You should also be so blessed at 35 to be able to thumb your nose at an M3.

I'm impressed you can sum my entire life up in two sentences. Sure the attention is funny at times. But, I don't feed off of it.

I do like the hair cut joke. It is actually pretty funny.

Truth is maybe I am aging too fast. I no longer need the fastest. But, maybe something I can fit all my friends in.
